These guys aren’t clowning around.

This summer just got a “killer” update, as Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game–a multiplayer game based on the 1988 cult favorite–got a June 4 release date. Pre-orders are now open for the IllFonic video game. Check out the latest game trailer on this page.

The game–available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC–will continue the battle between the invading Killer Klowns and the unfortunates living in Crescent Cove.

Some gamers assume the role of the Killer Klowns, as they hunt humans and plan their invasion. The other side represents Crescent Cove citizens, as they look for loot and weapons.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space–from writers/directors Stephen and Charles Chiodo–stars Grant Cramer, Suzanne Snyder and John Allen Nelson in a story about evil clown-like aliens who invade a small town in order to capture and harvest the residents for food.

The horror-comedy was generally received well by critics, and fans flocked to theaters–accounting for a $43-million bonanza for a film with a $2-million budget.
