Our Kill of the Week this time up is from one of the great icons of horror, Candyman.
THE PLOT: Based on the Clive Barker short story, “The Forbidden”, Candyman (1992) is the story of a tragic, yet vengeful spirit who is the thing of urban legends. Summoned by saying his name 5 times, he will tear you apart with his hooked hand.
THE KILL: Helen Lyle is awaiting trial for the murder of her friend Bernadette, who was actually the victim of Candyman. While preparing for her defense with psychologist Dr, Burke, Candyman appears and kills the doctor allowing her to escape.
