The master of horror is set to make a return.
John Carpenter will serve as executive producer on an upcoming series from Elevation Pictures called John Carpenter Presents, according to a report on The Hollywood Reporter. The series is created and showrun by Michael Amo (Pure, The Listener) and Will Pascoe (Orphan Black, Absentia).
The article mentions that “season one will be set in the remote wilderness of Alaska. As a diverse group of characters face a chilling mix of supernatural and existential terror, the anthology series will explore the hidden fears and social anxieties of our time.”
“We’re thrilled to launch into the television space with the master of horror, John Carpenter,” Christina Piovesan of Elevation Pictures said in a statement on Friday. “Will and Michael bring deep experience in writing and showrunning and we can’t be more excited for this creative team to bring this series to audiences.”
No release date has been announced yet for the series, but we’ll share updates as soon as they’re available. Stay tuned to Horror News Network for more on John Carpenter Presents.
