Can Sidney Prescott truly trust her husband?
Joel McHale has landed the role of Mark Evans, the spouse of Sidney Prescott in Scream 7, according to a report on Deadline.
McHale joins the returning Courteney Cox and Mason Gooding, as well as newcomers Isabel May, Celeste O’Connor, Asa Germann, Mckenna Grace, Sam Rechner and Anna Camp.
Kevin Williamson, who wrote the original Scream, will be directing the film which was scripted by Guy Busick.
McHale has been seen a lot lately. He is currently working on Animal Control for Fox. The series, which has just entered its third season, follows animal control workers whose lives are complicated by the fact that animals are simple, but humans are not.
In addition to Animal Control, McHale also plays Chef David in The Bear.
Scream 7 is currently in production in Atlanta, Georgia.
