Here’s a unique way to land a second career.
The Bondsman–a new Blumhouse Television production–this week signed a co-star to play opposite the previously announced Kevin Bacon, according to a report on Deadline.
Jennifer Nettles (The Exorcist: Believer) will join Bacon in the eight-episode horror series that will land on Amazon Prime Video on an as-yet-unannounced date. The series–created by Grainger David–is led by showrunner Erik Oleson.
In the show, Nettles will play Maryanne, whose ex-husband Hub Halloran (Bacon) is “a backwoods bounty hunter who comes back from the dead with a second chance at life and love–and a nearly forgotten musical career.” Unfortunately, he finds out his old job “now has a demonic new twist.”
The show’s executive producers include David, Jason Blum, Chris McCumber, Jeremy Gold, Chris Dickie and Paul Shapiro.
