Jennifer Love Hewitt took to Instagram to announce her return to the I Know What You Did Last Summer franchise. The post, which can be seen below, shows the actress staring into a mirror with “I Know What You Did Last Summer!” notes attached.

Hewitt joins her former co-star Freddie Prinze Jr along with new cast members Chase Sui Wonders, Madelyn Cline, Sarah Pidgeon, Tyriq Withers and Jonah Haur-King. The film will be directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson.
Released on October 17, 1997, I Know What You Did Last Summer starred Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe, Freddie Prinze Jr., Johnny Galecki, and Bridgette Wilson. The film would earn $125.3 million at the box office against a budget of $17 million.
