Ain’t afraid of no ghost.
Presence–the latest genre offering from director Steven Soderbergh (Contagion)–premiered at Sundance last week, and now has been acquired by Neon, according to a report on Deadline. No release window has been announced.
The supernatural horror pic–scripted by David Koepp (the first two Jurassic Park entries)–stars Lucy Liu, Chris Sullivan, Callina Liang, Julia Fox, Eddy Maday and West Mulholland.
The film–shot entirely in a single location–follows a family who moves into a suburban house and discovers they’re not alone. It seems that a supernatural force has invaded the house–“and has taken a specific interest in the couple’s daughter.”
Producers Julie M. Anderson, Key Meyer, and H.H. Cooper work alongside executive producers Corey Bayes and Koepp.
