Can you feel the goosebumps raising now?
Goosebumps–the Disney+ series based on the works of R. L. Stine–has just been renewed for a second season, according to a report on Variety. No debut date has been revealed.
The show–developed by Nicholas Stoller and Rob Letterman–is led by showrunner and executive producer Hilary Winston.
Season 2 will contain eight episodes–compared to the 10 episodes in the first season–and will have an anthology format. The new season will also feature a new cast and setting, all drawing from Stine’s bestselling book series. No details on cast or setting have yet been announced.
In the new season, teenage sibling “discover a threat in their home–setting off a chain of events that unravel a profound mystery. As they delve into the unknown, the siblings become entangled in the story of five teenagers who mysteriously vanished in 1994.”
