Dexter is set to strike.
Showtime has revealed the first five images from their upcoming series Dexter: Original Sin. The images, which can be seen below courtesy of Deadline, show Christian Slater as Harry Morgan, Patrick Gibson as Dexter Morgan and Molly Brown as Debra Morgan.
The series takes place 15 years before the events of the original Dexter series which premiered on October 1, 2006. The new series is set in sunny Miami in 1991. Dexter: Original Sin is a 10-episode series which follows Dexter (Patrick Gibson) as he transitions from student to avenging serial killer. When his bloodthirsty urges can’t be ignored any longer, Dexter must learn to channel his inner darkness. With the guidance of his father, Harry (Christian Slater), he adopts a Code designed to help him find and kill people who deserve to be eliminated from society without getting on law enforcements’ radar. This is a particular challenge for young Dexter as he begins a forensics internship at the Miami Metro Police Department.
