What’s old is new again–even for Chucky.

When the second part of Season 3 of the Syfy and USA Chucky horror series hits the small screen next year, a familiar face to Child’s Play fans will be part of the cast, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Cult filmmaker John Waters (Pink Flamingos)–who played photographer Pete Peters in 2004’s Seed of Chucky–will return to the fold as Wendell Wilkins, the creator of the Good Guy dolls,

Waters joins Brad Dourif (as the iconic voice of Chucky), Jennifer Tilly, Fiona Dourif and Devon Sawa in the cast.

In this third season of Chucky–led by creator and showrunner Don Mancini–the killer doll has established himself inside the White House with America’s First Family. What is he up to now?

And how can Jake, Devon and Lexy reach the murderous doll inside the world-famous building–while balancing their romantic relationships and growing up? Meanwhile, Tiffany faces “a looming crisis of her own–as police close in on her for ‘Jennifer Tilly’s’ rampage last season.”
