Zach Galligan Drops Bombshell About ‘Gremlins 3’

by Rob Caprilozzi

“Bright light. Bright light.”

Gremlins star Zach Galligan recently took to TikTok to drop a bombshell about a new Gremlins film. Galligan credited “the success” of last year’s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice for getting Warner Bros. onboard for another installment of Gremlins, according to a report on Deadline.

“After 35 years, they’ve come up with a script,” said Galligan in a TikTok clip. “Warner Bros. is incredibly interested in doing it, apparently it’s waiting on Mr. Spielberg to read it and approve it.”

Released on June 8, 1984, Gremlins took in $212.9 million against a budget of $11 million. Directed by Joe Dante, the film starred Zach Galligan, Phoebe Cates, Hoyt Axton, Polly Holliday and Frances Lee McCain.

Gremlins alumni Zach Galligan, Robert Picardo, Belinda Balaski and Joe Dante will be appearing at CT HorrorFest on September 20-21 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT.
