Horror Reigns Supreme at Netflix Tudum Event

On Saturday, May 31st, Netflix hosted their Tudum live event at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. This annual celebration, known as Netflix Tudum, highlights the company’s biggest series and movies, featuring cast appearances, trailers and more.

This year’s celebration featured a bunch of horror, including Squid Game, Frankenstein, Wednesday and Stranger Things.

The official trailer for Squid Game: Season 3, which can be seen below, was revealed, and we see more of Seong Gi-hun (also known as Player 456) last battle.  The final season airs on June 27th.

 

The highly anticipated preview for  Guillermo del Toro‘s Frankenstein, which can be seen below, was finally released. Coming to Netflix in November, the film stars Oscar Isaac, Jacob Elordi, Mia Goth, Felix Kammerer, with Charles Dance, and Christoph Waltz. del Toro adapts Mary Shelley’s classic tale of Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant but egotistical scientist who brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation.

 

Tudum wouldn’t be complete without a Wednesday preview. The streamer revealed the first six minutes of the season, which can be seen below, featuring Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) in all her glory. The season is split up into two parts with Part 1 coming on August 6th and Part 2 arriving on September 3rd.

 

And of course, you can’t forget the show which helped Netflix rise to another level, Stranger Things. Get ready for the epic series finale of Stranger Things. Volume 1, November 26, 5pm PT* Volume 2, Christmas, 5pm PT* The Finale, New Year’s Eve, 5pm PT.
