Netflix revealed an Addams Family portrait, which can be seen below, today at the streamer’s presentation in New York City, according to a report on Deadline.
The image shows Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia, Jenna Ortega as Wednesday, Luis Guzmán as Gomez, Joanna Lumley as Grandmama, Joonas Suotamo as Lurch, Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester, and Isaac Ordonez a? Pugsley.
The official synopsis of the sophomore season reads “Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega), returns to prowl the Gothic halls of Nevermore Academy, where fresh foes and woes await. This season, Wednesday must navigate family, friends and old adversaries, propelling her into another year of delightfully dark and kooky mayhem. Armed with her signature razor-sharp wit and deadpan charm, Wednesday is also plunged into a new bone-chilling supernatural mystery. Creator/showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar return for the spine-tingling second season of WEDNESDAY, alongside executive producer and director Tim Burton.”
Season 2 of the hit series will be split into two seasons. The first part will premiere on August 6th and the second half will arrive on September 3rd.
