Jack Reynor is taking big step back into the horror genre. The award-winning Irish-American actor who co-starred opposite Florence Pugh in A24’s Midsommar, has signed on to join the cast of Lee Cronin’s The Mummy, according to a report on Deadline.
“This will be unlike any Mummy movie you ever laid eyeballs on before. I’m digging deep into the earth to raise something very ancient and very frightening,” said Cronin in a statement.
Some of Reynor’s other notable roles include the films What Richard Did (2012), Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014), Glassland (2014), Macbeth (2015), Sing Street (2016), as well as the series Strange Angel (2018–2019) and The Peripheral (2022).
