Joe Goldberg is back.
Earlier today Netflix revealed the official trailer for the final season of You. The preview, which can be seen below, shows Joe return to the greatest city in the world.
The official synopsis for Season 5 reads, “In the epic fifth and final season, Joe Goldberg returns to New York to enjoy his happily ever after… until his perfect life is threatened by the ghosts of his past and his own dark desires.”
Joining Penn Badgley this season is Charlotte Richie, Madeline Brewer, Anna Camp and Griffin Matthews.
The series, which premiered on Lifetime in September 2018, follows Joe Goldberg, a bookstore manager and serial killer who falls in love and develops an extreme obsession with the women that he dates.
You experienced a significant boost in popularity after its release on Netflix. It has been estimated that 40 million people viewed the series in its first month on the streaming platform.
