After a very long wait, the official trailer for Salem’s Lot has finally arrived. The preview, which can be seen below, shows a town battling against ancient evil when the sun goes down.
The official synopsis of the film reads: “Author Ben Mears returns to his childhood home of Jerusalem’s Lot in search of inspiration for his next book only to discover his hometown is being preyed upon by a bloodthirsty vampire.”
Directed by Dauberman, Salem’s Lot stars Lewis Pullman, Bill Camp, Spencer Treat Clark, Pilou Asbaek, Alfre Woodard, William Sadler, Makenzie Leigh, John Benjamin Hickey, Nicholas Crovetti, and Debra Christofferson.
Published by Doubleday on October 17, 1975, Salem’s Lot was Stephen King’s second published novel. A few years later, the book was adapted as a two-part TV miniseries which starred David Soul as Ben Mears.
