What does red sound like?
Palette–a new psychological horror pic–this week announced its two leads as it heads into production, according to a report on Deadline. No release window has been revealed at this early juncture.
Hunter Schafer (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes) and Noomi Rapace (Prometheus) will star in the film that’s the feature directorial debut of writer/director Zach Strauss, who wrote the 2023 Black List screenplay.
In the horror feature, Schafer plays Dolly, a woman suffering from extreme synesthesia–a rare condition that allows her to hear colors. Because of this, Dolly is recruited into a cult-like industry of color design–where “she discovers the dark reality of what it takes to make the world’s greatest colors.” Rapace plays Latrice, the company’s mysterious executive.
Strauss called Palette a “dark and twisted movie with an exceptional cast. I know we’re going to create something really special.”
