Earlier this month, a Night Swim featurette with comments from the cast and crew dropped, and now a new behind-the-scenes clip spotlighting producers Jason Blum and James Wan and writer/director Bryce McGuire is available. Check out the video on this page.
The horror pic–from Blumhouse Productions and Atomic Monster–is written and directed by McGuire, and is slated for a Jan. 5, 2024 theatrical release. The feature is adapted from a 2014 short film by McGuire and Rob Blackhurst.
In Night Swim, the Waller family moves into a new house and swiftly finds that “an unknown supernatural presence haunts the backyard swimming pool.” The tagline offers this warning: “No running. No diving. No swimming after dark.”
The film stars Wyatt Russell (Overlord), Kerry Condon (The Banshees of Inisherin), Amelie Hoeferle (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes), Gavin Warren (First Man), Nancy Lenehan (Catch Me If You Can) and Jodi Long (The Exorcist III).
