Capcom released a developer diary for their upcoming Nintendo Switch game, Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection. Producers, Pete Fabiano and Yoshiaki Hirabayashi treated gamers to short video, which can be seen below, where they discuss the homages they made to the original Ghosts ‘n Goblins and Ghouls ’n Ghosts games.
This year marks the 35th anniversary of Ghosts ‘n Goblins original release (September 19, 1985) and Capcom thought it would be a perfect time to bring fans another installment of the beloved series. What makes this title even more interesting is that Tokuro Fujiwara, the original series creator, was involved in the development of this game.
The game follows the valiant knight Arthur as he runs, jumps and battles his way through eerie stages set in the Demon Realm, a demonic fantasy world. Brave knights will need to proceed with extreme caution as terrifying dangers await, including familiar enemies like Zombie, Skeleton Murderer, Pigman and Red Arremer.
The game is set to be released for Nintendo Switch on February 25, 2021. Keep it locked to Horror News Network for the latest on Ghosts ‘n Goblins.
